THe House

Cosy and charming, in a breathtaking location with a sandy beach on your doorstep, the house is a cosy and rustic family home that sleeps 8 and has all the amenities for a fantastic holiday to the Island of Islay.   

The downstairs consists of a kitchen with a spacious dining area, a large livingroom and a downstairs shower and toilet.  The house has a fitted kitchen with oven, grill, hob and the all important dishwasher to allow you cook all types of meals if you choose to eat in rather than going out to one of the many excellent restaurants.   The kitchen also includes a washer dryer.

You will also find a smart tv  situated in the sitting room along with a log burning stove (imagine listening to the waves crashing off the pier with wee Islay nip in your hand as the fire crackles away).....  but, if you need to connect to the rest of the world, use the free wifi.  

The upstairs has four bedrooms: one king, one double, a twin room and one with a set of single bunkbeds, comfortably sleeping 8. There is also a large bathroom with a bath (shower over bath).   

The house is heated by night storage heating and there is a wood burner in the livingroom.  

There is a small patio area to the side of the house.

We are a pet friendly rental, but dogs must be kept off the furniture and are not permitted upstairs.  An additional cleaning charge will be levied upon booking.  Also please note we are a non smoking property.

We have applied to Argyll and Bute Council for a Short Term Let License.
